🏁 Pérez Capitalizes on Verstappen Crash to Earn Second Career Victory at Baku

Max Verstappen looked set to take his first first-ever Azerbaijan Grand Prix victory before he crashed out from the lead with just five laps to go – giving Sergio Perez a second career victory, as Lewis Hamilton locked up on the penultimate lap to finish 15th in a hugely dramatic race in Baku.

  1. Sergio Pérez (Red Bull Racing-Honda): 40 points, top driver for the third straight race, picking up a race win from the 3rd row
  2. Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin-Mercedes): 40 points, using a long first-stint strategy to finish second from Row 6
  3. Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo Racing-Ferrari): 22 points, finishing just out of the points after starting last on the grid

Our Game

John Lo and Danielle managed to stay 1-2 in our standings with best scores that did not approach maximum points in a race that lost Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll due to puncture-related crashes. John Cavelti continues in third place overall.
