What an entertaining Round of 16 that was!
Six of the eight matchups featured each team winning on their own home ground, with two matchups going to extra time. Lots of goals, too, along with the amazing Lionel Messi scoring five in a game and Mario Gomez nearly matching that performance a week later.
The round nonetheless went more or less to form, at least based on our predictions, with five of us getting six of the advancing teams correct and earning the bonus points. Only two players (Michael and Dave) got a score correct to earn those bonus points.
Doug and John maintain their 1-2 ranking from the Group Stage, while Michael has found his way onto a podium spot. Joel, Clint, Dave and Steffen are not far behind with three rounds worth 100 points each to go!
The next round will begin March 27, the matchups will be drawn on March 16. Please watch for the entry form!
