The League Phase Draw Has Taken Place
As you may have heard, UEFA has drawn for the League Phase. UEFA has reformed its international club competitions for the upcoming season, including UEFA Champions League.
The tournament proper will begin with a single 36-team league, with teams playing eight opponents to determine 24 teams to advance to the knockout rounds (the top eight teams will receive a bye, while teams ranked 9-16 will be drawn against teams ranked 17-24).
I plan to organize the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League Prediction Challenge! beginning with the 16-team Knockout Round Play-Offs scheduled to run February 11 through February 19, 2025. Players can look forward to what will be, as before, a five-round game. In the meantime, please enjoy what the Champions League has to offer as they winnow the Champions League down to 24 clubs.
