Clint is the first FIFA World Cup Prediction Challenge champion on the strength of Italy’s spot-kick victory over France. Congratulations! Dave, John and Doug Wansbrough also finished in the money.

Nobody predicted the winner and score correctly, although Mike had the score correct with France coming out on top. Certainly nobody could have predicted the bizarre ending. (Rooney? Sure. Zidane? Not so much.)

The Germany-Portugal tiebreaker did not come into play, but congratulations to Glen Roberts for picking the score exactly right.
