An incredible, tense race-long battle between Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton saw Hamilton triumph for his sixth Spanish Grand Prix win, the reigning world champion brilliantly executing a two-stop strategy to claim his third win in four races this season, as Verstappen finished ahead of the second Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas.

  1. Sergio Pérez (Red Bull Racing-Honda): 27 points, finishing fifth after qualifying 8th
  2. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes): 26 points, using a 2-stop strategy to overtake Max Verstappen in Lap 60/66
  3. Kimi Räikkönen (Alfa Romeo Racing-Ferrari): 25 points, winning a down-field battle for 12th after qualifying 17th

Our Game

Wes missed out on only 1 scoring row to top the pack; John Lo and John Cavelti were close behind on the day, while Danielle maintains second place overall between them after the fourth round of our game.

A brilliantly managed race from Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton saw him take his second win of the 2021 season at the Portuguese Grand Prix, the Briton finishing ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, as Hamilton’s polesitting team mate Valtteri Bottas came home third.

  1. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes): 29 points, earning victory from P2 over teammate Valtteri Bottas
  2. Daniel Ricciardo (McLaren-Mercedes): 27 points, earning Standings points after a poor qualifying on Saturday
  3. Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing-Honda): 22 points, finishing second; and
    Fernando Alonso (Alpine-Renault): 22 points, finishing eighth from 13th on the grid

Our Game

John Cavelti was the big mover this weekend earning best driver scores in eight of the 10 rows, moving him into the prize spots. Danielle and John Lo were close behind and maintain their 1-2 placings in the overall standings.

🏁 Verstappen Delivers Answers to Hamilton at Imola

Max Verstappen took a superb victory in an action-packed Emilia Romagna Grand Prix that was red-flagged half way through after a a high-speed crash involving Valtteri Bottas and George Russell, which both walked away from unhurt. Lewis Hamilton recovered from a spin at Tosa to finish second, while Lando Norris made it from seventh to third with a terrific drive that earned him the Driver of the Day tag.

  3. Lando Norris (McLaren-Mercedes): 27 points, earning a podium finish after qualifying seventh on Saturday

Our Game

John Cavelti was the big mover at Imola with the better driver in seven rows, moving him just outside of the podium spots after the second round of our game. Danielle and Michael enjoyed second-best days to continue to lead the way ahead of John Lo.

Emilia Romagna Grand Prix Predictions

Sunday’s race will feature seven rows in play as Max Verstappen, Carlos Sainz Jr. and Antonio Giovanazzi are unanimous choices to top their row-mates, Charles Leclerc, George Russell and Mick Schumacher, respectively.

Key rows, where we are essentially split, are Row 3 between Pierre Gasly and Daniel Ricciardo, as well as Row 5 with Esteban Ocon and Lance Stroll.
