Joel is our leader after the first of five Champions League rounds on the strength of having five of the eight groups picked exactlycorrectly.
Michael is second with help from having 15 of the 16 advancing teams correct. (Don’t ask him which one he missed.)
The hardest group to pick was Group A, with nobody earning any points. Nobody had predicted Bremen to finish worse than second, and only one player picked Tottenham to advance, let alone win the Group. Group E went exactly to form for everyone, with Bayern and Roma taking the qualifying spots while Basel and Cluj found their way to the Europa League and out of Europe, respectively.
Enjoy the winter break and start thinking about Champions League when February starts. Games start again on February 15 & 16 with the away
legs in the Round of 16.
