We have 32 players entered! Newcomers: the updates come in a ready-for-the-fridge PDF file (see above).
For the first time, I’ve avoided manual spreadsheet entry of predictions, but, nevertheless, please have a look at your predictions to make sure that they’re what you submitted! I’ll be continuing to make the spreadsheet/PDF look as good as it can, and conserving space as much as possible. If anyone has any ideas, I’ll welcome them!
As for our selections, and predictions, the most interesting series looks to be Anaheim vs. Nashville, with 16 of us taking each side. The other series we see as being close are Philadelphia-Buffalo, and Pittsburgh-Tampa Bay. We’re more united in our thinking that the New York Rangers, Montréal Canadiens, Los Angeles Kings and Phoenix Coyotes will have their seasons come to an end soon.
The team getting the least amount of love? The Chicago Blackhawks, maybe not a surprise being the Canucks’ first-round opponents and having backed into the playoffs on the regular season’s final day, but they are the defending Stanley Cup Champions!
The shortest series we expect will be the Sharks vs. the Kings. The toughest battle? Back to Anaheim and Nashville.
