Welcome to the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League Prediction Challenge! The pitches have been watered and the spreadsheet cleared out and replaced with the 32 contenders for European club football supremacy!
We have a record 14 players taking part, and, in turn, our largest prize ever: $70 will go to our winner. There will be prizes for second, third and fourth place, as well.
Looking at our predictions, Michael (who has won or tied for first six years in a row) is the only player to pick Ajax Amsterdam to escape Group H.
The easiest group to pick appears to have Group H, with Group B being a close second.
The hardest group is clearly Group F, with last year’s runners-up Borussia Dortmund being picked to finished anywhere between first and last.
Amongst our first-time players is Ed , who has gone completely according to the UEFA Coefficient form, and Tim, whose entry goes least against the numbers.
