Panthers Clinch Second Consecutive Stanley Cup

The Florida Panthers repeated as Stanley Cup champions by beating the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 of the final on Tuesday night, becoming the NHL’s first back-to-back winners since Tampa Bay in 2020 and ’21 and the third team to do it this century.

Congratulations to Wes on his second Stanley Cup Playoffs Prediction Challenge! win, and first since 2010! Wes was one of six players to predict the Final series score exactly correct, and his lead after the Conference Finals round was enough to hold off five other players also predicting the final series in Michael, Bob, Ed and John. Terry fell short in his bid to win for the third straight year, but his performance over the first three rounds was enough to earn the fifth and final prize.
