WTA and ATP Tour Finals
These tournaments are held annually and invite the eight top-ranked women’s and men’s singles players to compete in a round-robin format to determine two semi-finalists and ultimately leading to a tournament champion.
Tournament Format, and how we play the Prediction Challenge game
There are two groups of four players each in each tournament, with the top two players qualifying for single-match knockout play. Each player plays each other once in the round robin for a total of three games. Your job, in the round robin round, is to pick the finishing order of each group as well as the two players to advance to the semifinals . Your score will be based on how close you are to predicting the correct order and also whether you chose the correct two to qualify for the next round.
In subsequent rounds, your task will be to pick the winning player and the number of sets that will be scored by each player in each match.
