Hockenheim delivered an absolutely superb race in 2018 – but it was nothing compared to the absolute humdinger the iconic German track produced this weekend. And it was the large contingent of travelling Dutch fans that left the happiest as Max Verstappen mastered the rainy conditions to clinch victory on a day when many of the other big guns quite literally hit trouble…

Top Point Drives of the Day

  1. 🇩🇪 Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) 43 points; starting from the back of the grid to finish second and redeem his 2018 disappointment at the Hockenheimring
  2. 🇷🇺 Daniil Kvyat (Scuderia Toro Rosso-Honda) 32 points; Toro Rosso’s first-ever podium finish resulting after a ninth-row start
  3. 🇨🇦 Lance Stroll (Racing Point-BWT Mercedes) 29 points; the first Canadian to lead a Grand Prix race before settling into fourth place

Our Game

With Michael and John Cavelti leading the way, the differences near the top have become much closer. Evan now holds a narrow lead over Ian, with Michael and John Cavelti moving past Danielle, with less than 50 points blanketing the group of five as we move past the halfway point of the season
