Lewis Hamilton triumphed in a nail-biting finale to the Mexican Grand Prix, brilliantly making an ambitious one-stop strategy work to win out from Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and his Mercedes team mate Valtteri Bottas – although it wasn’t quite enough for the Briton to secure his sixth drivers’ title over Bottas at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.

Top Point Drives of the Day

  1. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) 30 points: race win and fastest lap from P3
  2. Daniel Ricciardo (Renault) 29 points: top mover on the day, up to eighth place from thirteenth on the grid
  3. Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) 26 points: third place, moving up from sixth and recovering from a qualifying crash

Our Game

Tim earned top marks for the second race in a row, thanks to picking the better-scoring driver in eight of the nine scoring rows.

Tim’s big day moved him up from fifth into fourth, with only one point separating him from John Cavelti in third place.
