Predictions are in, and there are no fewer than five unanimous choices to advance to the Round of 16 (Germany, France, Spain, England and Argentina). All other matchups feature at least a heavy favourite, with perhaps the most impactful match of the round being Netherlands-Morocco, where at least nine players are supporting each team. Three teams (South Africa, Japan and Ecuador) have exactly one player each backing them; should one of them break through, that could be meaningful in this Round’s scoring.

One match will be played today, with the rest of the round featuring three matches per day through Friday. Reporting during the Round will continue at the Prediction Challenges! web site. The Round of 16 will commence on Saturday; the form will appear on the site approximately mid-week.
